        At Louisiana WildLife Rescuers, we believe that every animal deserves a chance to thrive in their natural environment. That's why we work  to rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured and orphaned wildlife. We want to give the best care possible, and we rely on the support of our community to make it all possible. Join us in our mission to protect and preserve our precious wildlife!  IF ORPHANED BABY WILDIFE OR INJURED WILDLIFE CANNOT BE RE~RELEASED INTO THE WILD THEY ARE NOW, LEGALLY ALLOWED, TO BE KEPT AS PETS.          This site is brand new (July 2th, 2025) We are setting up a Venmo account for donations Name: "Louisiana Wildlife Rescuers" It is now active.  There is a Venmo Scanning Label a tad farther down, and the scanning label DOES WORK.  For some unknown reason it may need to be scanned a couple of times.  The scanning label has been tested and DOEs work.  (We are working on why it may have to be scanned more than once... perhaps because it a brand new account?) (It will put donations into the correct account though!!) Thank you all kindly for any/all donations.

        In the future it would be nice to have property and a building, a ... A "Sanctuary",  along with supplies needed to give out to help with Wildlife Rescue and Rehab.  We are working on NON PROFIT also... in the near future.  

         Most of the public doesn't even KNOW about this new law allowing private Citizens to rescue and rehab wildlife.  Now, they can do what they do quietly anyway... but now with legal rights to do it (rescue and rehab).  Hunters rescue wildlife, everyday people rescue wildlife ALL the time, everyday, someone OTHER THAN a licensed "rehabber" ~~~~~>> is RESCUEING and REHABBING WILDLIFE. This NEW STATE LAW is a WONDERFUL THING.  It means YOU a, normal person,  can HELP an orphaned or injured little animal yourself.   We fully believe, and KNOW, the "Public" has enough good sense to learn how to care for (and/or research how to care for) orphaned and injured wildlife.  WE have Faith in YOU!
